Fan Fiction

I’m a big believer in fanfic. It’s how I learned to write, for the most part. I don’t do a whole lot of it these days, but I may still dabble on occasion. Here are some stories I’ve written over the years.

All the stories on this page are of course offered free for your enjoyment. Obviously, I don’t own Harry Potter or Twilight or any of the characters/plot elements/etc. from those stories. Neither those authors nor anyone else involved in the original books (or any other books/shows/movies/etc. I may write fanfic about) are affiliated with me or these stories in any way, and no infringement is intended. Original characters/plot elements/etc. are my own. I understand that both J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer are cool with fanfic, so I hope they’re cool with me sharing these fics here. If you want to read my fanfics on a normal fanfic archive to bookmark and/or leave comments there, you can find my fics at An Archive Of Our Own.

A Different Approach

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir

Canon-compliant through episode 2.12 | Adrien/Marinette, Nino/Alya | Romance, Drama, Fluff, Action | 61k words | Novel

Rating: all ages

Adrien Agreste, teen fashion model, is secretly a superhero known as Cat Noir. Together with his partner, Ladybug, he protects Paris from the evil Hawk Moth—a villain who uses corrupted butterflies called akumas to turn regular people into supervillians when they feel negative emotions.

Ladybug isn’t just Cat Noir’s partner; she’s also the girl he’s madly in love with. But she’s made it clear to him that she doesn’t return his feelings.

When Adrien inadvertently discovers Ladybug’s true identity as Marinette—the kind, klutzy girl who sits behind him at school—he decides that since she’s not interested in him as Cat Noir, he’ll try wooing her as Adrien. But that means doing it without his mask—and that’s more frightening than all the supervillains Hawk Moth can throw at him.

Hermione Granger and the Intended Vessels

AU | Snape/Hermione, Lupin/Tonks, Harry/Ginny | Romance, Angst, Drama | 300k words | Content warning for child loss/endangerment.

RATING: OLDER TEENS AND UP   (contains adult situations/topics)

Sometimes all it takes to change the world is one small, simple choice. On the night the Death Eaters attack Hogwarts, Hermione Granger makes such a choice. Her life—and her world—will never be the same.

By killing Draco, she saves Dumbledore and keeps Voldemort at bay for a little while. But evil never sleeps for long. When a Ministry decree forces her to marry Professor Snape—a cruel, cold man who’s apparently hated her since she was a child—in order to be used as a breeder of superior wizards, Hermione doesn’t think her life can get any worse. She’s wrong.

Soon, Voldemort’s after her and her friends (again), her life is in grave peril, and all her hopes for a future at all, much less a happy one, rest on her own shoulders—and on Snape, her unwanted husband, whose heart still belongs to a woman long dead.
